Saturday 4 October 1.30 – 4.30pm
The Gallery, The Dukes, Moor Lane, Lancaster
With Debbie Taylor
If you are finding it hard to make time for your writing, this is the workshop for you. Time management theory was developed for business leaders to help them prioritise their tasks and work more efficiently. This workshop will outline the principles of time management and show you how to apply them to make space for your creative work.
2. Planning The Project And Funding It
Thursday 23 October 7.00 – 9.30pm
Cabinet Room B, County Hall, Preston
With Steve Dearden
A straight-talking seminar on how best to devise, design and fund a project.
How do you make successful finding applications which express your ideas, but also meet Arts Council criteria? Bring a real idea to this practical workshop and develop it into an exciting project proposal and an effective G4A application.
2. Co-mentoring And How To Go About It
Saturday 15 November 2.00 – 5.00pm
The Gallery, The Dukes, Moor Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1QE
With Sarah Hymas
Mentoring is a great way of developing your writing and yourself as a writer. Co-mentoring is mentoring between writers at similar stages of their careers. This is a workshop for writers who want to explore how to set up and run such a partnership, and will produce a practical guide for all who attend. Bring a co-mentor, or come alone and maybe you'll find someone here.
